I've been devouring the blog Delightfully Tacky lately. I've been working my way backward through the blog, and I'm nearing the beginning of her Brave Trip where she drove around in an old Winnebago, blogging and snapping pictures the whole way. Something about the photographs and the stream of conscious writing makes me want to do nothing but go into a reading and writing frenzy. She also makes me want to hop into a motor home and drive cross country, and wave goodbye to my job and dirty roommates. I know this isn't a possibility any time soon, but I know that the desire to get out there and discover new things, to see myself against a multitude of backdrops is not just a dream but a necessity.
