Mini-goals.

Starting this month, I'm taking a page from Elise Blaha of Enjoy It's book and setting more short-term goals. I often forget about my whole 26 before 26 list, and I think this would be a better way to keep track of my progress and changing interests.

For (what remains of) February, I want to:

• Finish my crochet blanket.
• Gather the remainder of my squares for the quilt I want to start.
• Write a story I'm really proud of.
• Finish my current book and The Fates Will Find A Way. Blog about them both.
• Write and send three letters.

That seems pretty do-able, huh? I think so, too.

Hi there, second month toward sweet, sweet Spring. Welcome later sunrises and sunsets, roadtrip to Philly, a full week of Mike at home, growing as a runner, as a writer. You will be the month of plans, of daydreams, of trial and error. The short, sweet, succinct month, the birthday month of this blog. You will be the month of coming out of hibernation, of reminding myself of the city I love, taking full advantage with the knowledge that I will not always be here. We will not always be here.
