It's been a busy April so far, and we're only in the second week. I've started trying to incorporate better foods into my mornings, canceled out by pina coladas and ten cent wings with Meg. Mike and I found a new place to go candlepin bowling that doesn't have an epic wait on Friday nights. The carpeted walls and old school set up were a major bonus. I felt like we had gone miles outside the city, but it was about a third of a mile from where I work.
I bought some more sewing patterns at a yard sale on Saturday, and I'm currently taking a class through work on HTML and CSS. Hence some of the changes around here; I've been itching to change things up and try my hand at what I'm learning. Don't worry, we're still open during construction. The regeneration that comes with spring has inspired me to keep learning, keep bettering, shedding my winter skin and layers. My crochet blanket is making some headway after a long time on the back burner. It'll be done just in time for summer!
This week my office begins undergoing major renovations, so April looks like it'll be a lot of days spent working from home, trying to avoid cabin fever, which translates to plenty of walks, library and coffee shop trips. We'll see how I feel two weeks from now, but I'm actually looking forward to it.
It's been one heck of a week, with one of my coworkers moving on to greener pastures, I've been trying to get all of my inherited projects in order along with my own projects. Just when I think I have a handle on InDesign, something new crops up and I'm in the bathroom crying like a baby. But I took Cyndi's advice and went for a run followed by a glass of wine and mindless TV. That girl knows how to cure me.

An even better cure: a run, wine and mindless TV together in D.C. I can't wait to see you sometime in the next few months!
